BKK Raptor-Z «When you’re going after monsters”! This hook incorporates the latest hook making technology and BKK’s legendary hand-crafting finishes. This is a hook that was designed with one thing in mind: to hook strong and aggressive “monster” fish and stay hooked to the very end.

The Raptor-Z BL (barbless) has been developed to ease the release of the fish after the fight and to avoid causing much damage to it. Barb aside, the features of the original Raptor-Z remain unchanged: inward hook point for a better holding power, the Hand-Ground processing to increase the penetration and the Micro Ring to ease the attachment of split rings.

The fully welded Micro Ring is formed once the hook shank has undergone a special grinding process. The strength of the ring is maintained while providing a slip profile that makes attaching a split ring super easy.

Short-welded section increases the elasticity of the hook to reduce its possibility of being pulled open.

A wide gap and deep hook point greatly reduces the chance of the hook coming off in the heat of combat.
