The design of the Viper-41 stems from the experience BKK Hooks made over the years with fast swimming diving trolling lures and surface skipping lures all around the years.

The straight point was chosen to maximise the hook-up rate when fish only hit the lure, while the aggressive shape of the bend ensures that the hook does not come off during prolonged fights or when the fish jumps out of the water.

To reduce the overall weight of the hook BKK shortened the welded section of the treble, thereby also providing more flexibility to the structure without affecting the overall strength.

The Viper-41 is coated in Bright Tin to resist even harsh saltwater environments.
